5. Bot Permissions
When connected to Twitch, the bot may execute moderation actions via IRC dot-commands (.timeout, .ban, .delete) based on your configured rules. You are responsible for configuring these rules appropriately and ensuring they comply with Twitch's community guidelines.
6. Intellectual Property
The Kli software is open source under the MIT License. You retain all rights to your content, commands, and configurations. By using the Service, you grant us no ownership of your data.
7. Data and Privacy
Your use is governed by our Privacy Policy. We store data as described therein. You can delete your data at any time by removing your channels.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
As the Service is in early development, you acknowledge that features may be incomplete or change without notice.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL KLI CONTRIBUTORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kli contributors from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. Material changes will be indicated by updating the "Last updated" date.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable laws without regard to conflict of law provisions. If you self-host Kli, you operate your own deployment — local laws of your hosting jurisdiction apply. For any hosted instance, the operator identified in the GitLab repository is the contracting party.
